October 17th: Thank you for your patience while I was recuperating (more about that later) and building up the courage to return. I want to make some changes to the site, so I hope you'll check back later to see how it's going. I'm not sure at this moment what all the changes will be - like building a poem, I'll need inspiration, concentration and editing! If you haven't given up on me -bless you - I'll send you a note when the first phase is ready for viewing. If you're not on the Poetry Patchwork mailing list, just click on the button at the bottom of any page.
Go Daddy (the landlord) has upgraded the site programs, so I'll be puttering behind the scenery for a bit. I think the upgrades will make the work go quickly.

POETRY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Send no more than five poems a month in the text of an email, with "submissions" written in the subject line. No attachments will be read. Please include a two- or three-line bio.
I have no degrees in poetry, so I'll just post what I like. Please no foul, hateful or sexually explicit language, and no racial slurs.
Submission gives me the right to publish, and rights revert to you upon publication. I will let you know whether or not I will use your work. Previously published poems should include a credit line.
Home Page artwork was created by and is owned by Cara Alson. It was turned into an online graphic by Carol Wood, www.hazelst.com , who also gave me technical advice and sympathy as I struggled with putting my site up. Thank you, Carol!
